Established in 2012, AquaLife Ponds is an award-winning water feature company located in Costa Mesa, California, servicing the Orange County and Los Angeles areas. We are a master certified Aquascape contractor and hold a current California state contractors’ license. AquaLife Ponds is Southern California’s preferred pond installation, renovation, and maintenance company, passionate about building and maintaining exceptional water features to enhance every customers quality of life.
We started Aqualife Ponds because of our desire to bring an unwavering customer experience to fellow pond aficionados. Water features bring the beauty of the natural world to any setting and creates a calming focal point on every property. We love that we can build and maintain water features that enrich our customer’s lives and environments while also delivering exceptional dedicated customer service that our customers can count on.
Dave Misterly
Founder and Owner
Dave Misterly is the owner and designer. His love for water features began while exploring the Santa Ynez Mountains in Santa Barbara as a young boy. Inspired by nature, Dave has traveled various parts of the globe to experience the wonder it brings. From the Cascade Mountains in the PNW, to the Himalaya of Nepal, the beautiful greens of New Zealand and the Andean Mountains of Ecuador— although his first true love of high-altitude mountains and favorite range is our local Sierra Nevada. Also inspired by his love for ecology and biological concepts, Dave studied at UCSC as a biology major. He loves clean, clear water and is a total filtration geek!
A Little About Dave & Anne
Dave & Anne are living their passion – enhancing lives and homes by installing water features.
The couple started transforming yards in 2004 when they lived in Santa Barbara. They loved the business so much that it moved with them to Seattle in 2005 and then Newport Beach in 2012.
When Dave first saw a waterfall he was blown away. He thought it was one of the coolest sights he’d ever seen. Since then, he’s come to realize that water features can look amazing and help create balance in people’s lives. Aqualife has been his way to try and introduce this balance into people’s homes.
The only part they love more than helping create balance in people’s lives is blowing away their expectations.
